We proudly use Draft horses in our lessons. These gentle giants, also known as “cold bloods”, are calm, kind, and steady. They don’t spook easily, even when a rider feels nervous or unsure. That makes the learning process safer and more relaxing for beginners. Plus, Draft horses can carry larger riders with ease. If you’ve ever been told you’re too big to mount a horse, we’re here to say yes, you absolutely can.
And we’re not just here for fun. We give back. At Riders of the Mark, horseriding lessons are always offered for free to veterans, active service members, and first responders. With proof of service, your rides are our thank you.
